BRANDON THIBODEAUX

EXECUTIVE CHEF

In April of 2018, Brandon took over as our new ruler of the kitchen, with over 15 years of experience in the restaurant industry, as a chef at Roberto's and most recently as Sous chef at City Pork. Brandon brings a lot of experience and culinary knowledge to Olive or Twist with his ability to combine bold flavors together in order to create unique and exciting dishes, which has allowed us to elevate from a cocktail bar to one of Baton Rouge's best restaurants.

THE EXPANSION

In November of 2016, Olive or Twist completed it's expansion in the Perkins Palm development. Our four year run as a cocktail bar had come to an end. With the expansion doubling our size, we were taking on an entire new challenge. Food originally was a reason to keep guests at the bar. Now, we want our delicious cuisine to be a reason you come. Oh, and don't forget the cocktail!

THE MENU

Being in South Louisiana, your food can't be boring. While writing our original menu, we were calling ourselves a "Modern Louisiana Kitchen." We definitely have stuck to that! From dishes featuring our delicious housemade boudin and gumbo to putting Louisiana spins on entrees from all over the world, our always evolving menu is sure to please everyone from the casual diner to the serious foodie!
